We left our Lake in the early afternoon, only to reach Sezana (Slovenjia) at evening.
The day after we left Sezana under an heavy rain and a temperature of 17 °C; using only highways we cross Slovenjia, Croatia, Serbia… and the temperature reached again 38°C!
Roads and rests areas in Serbia are modern and well organized, and people always kind.
We stopped in Nis, at about 90 Km from the Bulgarian border

DARIO'S GETTING READY
Our travel's pal is quite ready to go through all the kilometres waiting for us...
a good motor oil (Castrol), new brakes (Carbone Lorraine), and new tires, Metzeler Tourance exp instead of the usual Heidenau.
Concerning the luggage, we use an original BMW topcase and two 37 lt. TRAX bags. Ontop of the Trax bags, our inseparable Ortlieb bags, helping to double our usable space...
No too much space, but it will be useful to leave at home all the unnecessary stuff...
I forgot... our travel pal this here will be a BMW F800 GS!

SABRINA'S GETTING READY
Uhm... no much room in out bags, but we've been travelling for years, and finally we're skilled...
Few T-shirts, easy to wash and dry (we use Quechua brand), socks and underwear, and two trekking pants...a light jacket and a pair of shoes... is all we need beyond our motorbike outfits!
What it is difficult to organize, and need space, is all the "technical" stuff: my MacBook Air, a Nikon D80 camera, a mobile camera (GoProHD) for the helmet...and all the recharger, both for these devices and for our mobiles, and the helmet's intercom system... better no forget any of them!
Last but not least our GPS system Garmin Zumo, maybe not needed during most part of the route (we prefer using traditional  maps) but absolutely needed entering a big city like Istanbul!

Finally we finished to prepare the ideal route for our incoming holiday...for better viewing the maps, we divided the tour in three parts.
First of all the transfer, all by roads, crossing Slovenija - Croatia - Serbia - Bulgaria
Once arrived in Turkey, the first part of the itinerary includes the Aegean cost, Pamukkale, the "must see" Cappadocia, Mount Nemrut
The second part of the route take us from Diyarbakir close to Armenia and Georgia borders, and back to the see, with a final 2 days' stop in Istanbul.
The route is obviosly subject to changes, depending what will happen day by day...
